Lost in the nothingness

Shifting and swaying,

Not knowing up from down,

My bearings lost and fading.

The dizzying sense of escape,

Fleeing my reality,

The tranquil waves of my trance,

Levitating, numb and free.

Abstract colors all around,

Transported to faraway lands,

The painting of all possible worlds,

Cascading from my hands.

Lines in space, a geometry,

Hypnotize me with their grace,

Disconnecting me from time,

And leaving in their place.

A spiral of illusions,

Neon and grey trails of smoke,

The sense of forever suffocating,

I just can’t find my way back.
